Terms and Conditions for Houston Unfolded

Article 1: Scope of Application

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions conducted through the Houston Unfolded website or other platforms owned and operated by Houston Unfolded, based in Houston, Texas. A "client" is any individual or entity placing an order or reservation through our secure payment platform or participating in one of our events.

Article 1a: Age Limit

Houston Unfolded welcomes participants aged 18 and older for all events and services, including game nights, workshops, and social gatherings. We aim to foster an inclusive community of adults who value meaningful connections and shared experiences. If it comes to our attention that a participant does not meet the minimum age requirement, they will be denied entry, and any payments made will be refunded promptly.

Article 2: Reservations and Orders

By reserving a spot or placing an order through Houston Unfolded’s website or platform, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Reservations are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, if applicable, and are subject to availability.

Article 3: Pricing

All event and product prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes. Prices may change at any time; however, the price confirmed at the time of your reservation will be honored.

Article 4: Payment

Payment for ticketed events is due at the time of reservation. We accept major credit and debit cards via our secure payment system, Stripe. Houston Unfolded does not store your payment information. Any guarantee related to payment security lies with Stripe, and we cannot be held responsible for breaches outside of our control.

Article 5: Event Participation

All participants are required to RSVP for events through the designated platform. Event details, including location, time, and expectations (e.g., bringing snacks or drinks), will be provided in advance. Houston Unfolded reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals who do not meet the event’s requirements or expectations, such as age or participation criteria.

Article 6: Cancellation and Refunds

For Attendees: Refunds for ticketed events are available if a cancellation request is made at least 48 hours before the event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.
For Houston Unfolded: If an event is canceled by Houston Unfolded, attendees will be notified immediately, and full refunds will be issued.

Article 7: Data Protection

Houston Unfolded values your privacy. By providing your email address and personal information, you consent to our collection and use of this data in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws. We will never sell or share your information with third parties without your consent. You can unsubscribe from our communications at any time using the link included in our emails.

Article 8: Event Liability

Houston Unfolded is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property occurring during events. By participating, attendees accept responsibility for their actions and agree to hold Houston Unfolded harmless from any claims or liabilities.

Article 9: Applicable Law

These terms and conditions, and all transactions with Houston Unfolded, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Houston, Texas.
